T1 eSports

T1 Entertainment & Sports, a partnership between Comcast Spectacor and SK Telecom, is the company that manages the South Korean esports squad known as T1 Esports.

T1, which has its headquarters in Seoul and was established in 2003, is recognized as one of Asia's most successful esports organizations. They have teams competing in:

Gen.G

The multinational esports organization Gen.G was created in 2017 and has evolved to become one of the largest esports organizations in the world. Gen.G hosts rosters for:

  • PUBG: Battlegrounds
  • Valorant

The organization's offices are in Santa Monica, Seoul, and Shanghai.

Gen.G has quickly become one of the most successful esports organizations in the world, thanks in large part to the fact that they have won several titles in both Heroes of the Storm and PUBG: Battleground. They have also won two League of Legends World Championships. In 2021, they had the sixth most valued position among esports organizations, with a $185 million US valuation.

Fnatic

Fnatic is not just one of the world's most well-known and largest esports organizations, but also one of the longest-surviving esports organizations, having been founded in 2004. Fnatic is a company with its headquarters in London. It takes part in various games, including:

After winning seven out of a possible eight split titles in the League of Legends European Championships, the Fnatic League of Legends squad is widely considered among the top squads. G2 Esports

Gamers2 was established in 2014 by Carlos "Ocelote" Santiago, a former video game League of Legends professional, and Jens Hilgers, an investor. The company is headquartered in Berlin, Germany, and in 2015, it underwent a rebranding and is now known as G2.

G2 Esports is now considered one of the most popular eSports organizations in the industry. They now have lineups in:

G2 is also among the most viewed esports organizations globally, with over 100 million hours watched by followers in 2021. 

Cloud9

Cloud9, an esports organization in California, was established in 2013. At first, they were only a League of Legends team. Still, subsequently, they expanded into the present-day organization that boasts League, Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros., Overwatch, Fortnite, and Valorant squads. 

Over a decade since its founding, Cloud9 continues to be regarded as one of North America's most successful esports organizations. The team has won over US$11 million in tournaments, including the Rocket League Championship Series, Overwatch League, and ELEAGUE Major, amongst many others.

Natus Vincere (NAVI)

Natus Vincere, or NAVI as it is more often known, is a Kyiv-based Ukrainian esports organization founded in 2009. NAVI has esports squads for:

  • Defense of the Ancients 2
  • FIFA
  • World of Tanks
  • Paladins
  • League of Legends: Wild Rift

NAVI is considered one of the most successful esports organizations, and their DotA 2 squad is among the best in the world. Their CS: GO team is also among the world's best.

NAVI made history in 2010 by being the first team to win the Intel Extreme Masters, World Cyber Games 2010, and Electronic Sports World Cup, all in the same calendar year. NAVI is so successful that global powerhouses like Puma, Monster Energy, Logitech, Philips, Nissan, and Bybit are among its sponsors.

NAVI has won approximately US$17 million in winnings because of their dominance in CS: GO and DotA 2.

OG

OG may not have been around as long as some of the other organizations on our list, but they have steadily grown into a major player in the esports industry at that time. The European-based esports organization OG was founded in 2015, and its players compete mostly in DotA 2, CS: GO, and Valorant.

With back-to-back victories at The International 2018 and 2019, OG's Dota 2 squad has established itself as one of the top esports organizations in the game's history. The organization created by N0tail, Miracle-, Cr1T, and Fly has become one of the best in the world of esports, amassing more than US$35 million in victories and securing endorsement partnerships with companies like Red Bull, BMW, and SteelSeries.

Team Liquid

Team Liquid is a global esports organization headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Liquid expanded into other games in 2012 when it bought a North American DotA 2 squad to complement its StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty lineup.

Since then, the group has made tremendous progress. Liquid currently has teams in:

Team SoloMid (TSM) is a Los Angeles-based esports organization launched in 2009 by Andy 'Reginald' Dinh. In addition to LoL and DotA 2, they have teams playing Apex Legends, Valorant, Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros., Fortnite, PUBG Mobile, Battlegrounds Mobile India, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and Magic: The Gathering Arena.

The League of Legends squad from TSM is one of the best in the world, having won seven straight League of Legends Championship Series. There was a time when TSM had rosters for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Call of Duty, and Vainglory, with the CS: GO squad going on to establish their own organization and become the most successful team in the history of the game.

With a current market cap of US$400 million, TSM is one of the largest esports organizations and one of the most lucrative esports organizations.

FaZe Clan

FaZe Clan, formerly known as FaZe Snipping, was started in May of 2010 and has since grown to become one of the largest esports organizations in the world. Later changing their name to FaZe Clan, the Los Angeles-based esports organization now has teams in several other games staffed by gamers from around the globe. Right now, FaZe has teams assembled for various esports, including:

FaZe is now one of the largest esports organizations in the world, but they've also crossed over into the entertainment industry. They were worth more than $1 billion in 2021.
